MAKKAH: Saudi Arabia’s Hajj and Umrah system has launched the “Coming to Umrah?” campaign to raise awareness of services, guidelines, and proper conduct, enhancing the overall Umrah experience.

The initiative aligns with Vision 2030’s goal of enriching the Umrah journey and improving service quality, as part of preparations for the peak Ramadan season.

The campaign comes as international Umrah arrivals have exceeded 11.8 million since the start of the current Islamic year, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

Running until the end of Ramadan, the campaign focuses on awareness of services, procedures, and appropriate behavior throughout the Umrah journey.

A mix of digital and on-site communication tools accompanies pilgrims from planning through their return home, the SPA reported.

These efforts strengthen engagement with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah’s channels and promote positive conduct within the Two Holy Mosques and across all stages of the visit.

The campaign includes targeted outreach at more than 18 touchpoints, including entry ports, airports, transport hubs, accommodations, key destinations, enrichment sites, and the Two Holy Mosques.
