Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman reaffirmed on Wednesday that Saudi Arabia spares no effort in ensuring the comfort and safety of the Hajj and Umrah pilgrims.
The King congratulated the Saudi citizens, expatriates, and Muslims all over the world on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a speech, delivered on his behalf by Minister of Media Salman Al-Dossary, the King said: “We thank God for the bountiful blessings He has bestowed upon us, both visible and invisible. And among the highest of those blessings is that He singled out us with this blessed country as the Place of Revelation (of the Holy Qur’an) and the Qibla (direction to face while praying) of Muslims.”
The Monarch emphasized that Saudi Arabia spares no efforts in ensuring the safety and comfort of the pilgrims and providing them with all facilities and services to perform their rituals since their arrival to this blessed country until their departure.
“The month of Ramadan is a blessed season to multiply good deeds, strengthen ties of kinship, and refine from all evil. So I supplicate to God Almighty to enable Muslims to utilize the blessed days and nights of Ramadan in obeying Him, as well as to perpetuate success for them in life, and protect Saudi Arabia and the entire world from all evil,” he said.
King Salman also thanked God for having reached this holy month, the month of the Holy Qur’an, mercy, forgiveness, and deliverance from Hellfire. “We ask Him, by His grace and generosity, to help us to observe fasting and prayer and to guide us to do virtues during the month,” the King added.
