Member of the National Committee for Hajj, Umrah and Visit Hani Al-Amiri revealed to newsmen that raising the capacity of pilgrims, starting today, Monday, to two million pilgrims per month, will contribute significantly to the recovery of the Umrah sector and the rise indicators of accommodation in hotels, in addition to an increase in the number of pilgrims. Commercial mobility in transportation, restaurants and shopping in Makkah and Madinah.
He said: “130 Umrah companies and institutions prepared early to receive pilgrims, starting from the first of Muharram, by preparing employees and national cadres from the sons and daughters of the country, by taking courses to deal with crises and crowd management, and how to receive pilgrims and the distinguished treatment in receiving them from the airport and hotels, and supervising their entry to the Grand Mosque. And taking appointments through the “Umrahna” application, and direct supervision through qualified employees by Umrah companies and institutions by being present and following up with each group during their journey to perform Umrah or visit Madinah or tourist places.

He added: “A number of towers and hotels adjacent to the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque will witness a remarkable recovery during the first months of the return of pilgrims abroad and an increase in the capacity of pilgrims by about 60%, in order to perform Umrah and pray in the honorable kindergarten and perform prayers in the Two Holy Mosques.”
He added: “These hotels and towers are of a high-quality classification, according to international specifications, and all hotels are committed to applying health requirements, and the process of cleaning and sterilizing all facilities around the clock, with the application of precautionary measures such as spacing, visual sorting, wearing a mask, and others.” Al Arabiya.net
