Visitors to Prophet’s Mosque hit 8million in 6 months —- Al Sudais

The head of the Presidency of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais has said the number of visitors and worshippers at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah has reached eight million since the beginning of 1444 AH which began six months ago.

He clarified that the number of visitors to greet the Prophet (pbuh) at his tomb reached 7.7 million, while the number of worshippers inside the old mosque and the Rawdah Sharif reached nearly 2 million. About 102 million men and women worshippers prayed in the Prophet’s Mosque.

Al-Sudais said the Presidency has invested its efforts to offer knowledge, and cultural and social enrichment while receiving the visitors and worshippers.
